Winkler Peer Support Group

This is a FREE peer support group where our goal is to provide a safe, compassionate environment uniquely for stroke survivors to share experiences and support and encourage one another in this journey. 

We strive to:

• Share experiences, struggles and feelings without being judged
• Share information about available community resources and
support service
• Make connections with others in similar circumstances
• Share techniques for taking care of ourselves
• Help reassure you that you are not alone

We are not trying to be:

• Medical professionals or rehabilitation therapists
• Trained counsellors
